Plight of cohabiting siblings provokes lively exchanges in Lords

Lord Lexden has put further pressure on the government over the issue of the unfair way inheritance tax laws affect adult cohabiting siblings by means of an oral question in the House of Lords on 10 February. What plans did the government have, he asked, to make transfers of property between long-term cohabiting siblings exempt from inheritance tax.
